How did the company start, and how has it evolved over time?
The business was founded forty years ago by my father, initially specialising in freestanding and built-in appliances. I joined in the early 2000s and, together, we began a new chapter—broadening our focus toward kitchen and interior design. It was a natural transition that allowed us to respond more fully to the needs of our clients.
Why did you choose to feature Zecchinon in your showroom?
We were immediately drawn to the brand’s story—over fifty years of heritage and a strong family identity. Giovanni Zecchinon, the current CEO, is the founder’s grandson, and that personal continuity really resonated with us, as it mirrors our own journey. What completes the picture is their attention to materials, the understated elegance of Italian design, and a team that’s always responsive, attentive, and supportive at every step.

Is there a particular finish that stands out for you?
Absolutely—the plissé front is a striking choice. Its textured, irregular surface adds movement and depth, bringing warmth and character to the space.
How important is customisation in your work?
It’s essential. Zecchinon offers a high degree of creative freedom, both in lacquer finishes and natural veneers. We can even send a sample provided by the client to match a specific shade, or request a custom lacquer. This level of flexibility is crucial for meeting unique project requirements.
How do your clients perceive Zecchinon products?
Very positively. The perceived quality is immediate—thick fronts, robust hardware, and precise detailing. And the respect for delivery times really sets them apart, especially in project management.
Is there a recent project that particularly excited you?
Yes, we worked on a project within a historic residence that allowed us to fully express our design vision. Beyond the kitchen—which blends classical and contemporary elements—we also handled bathrooms, custom wardrobes, a bookcase, and the living area. It was a holistic, detail-driven intervention that gave us immense satisfaction.
