In this charming and distinctive setting, the client—an established real estate agent—envisioned a space designed to welcome, impress, and engage with the iconic Chicago skyline visible through the apartment’s expansive windows.

The soul of the project is immediately revealed in its layout: a double-island kitchen, conceived to open toward the large windows that frame the city beyond. A contemporary, convivial layout
Archisesto’s design approach reflects a thoroughly contemporary philosophy of the kitchen: no barriers, no enclosures—just surfaces that open up, connect, and invite interaction.

The material palette tells a precise story: the Zecchinon K105 collection comes to life through a refined interplay of textures. The natural warmth of oak is paired with the understated elegance of matte lacquer in Corda, while a bold note of deep blue, reserved for the bar/study area, adds an unexpected, sophisticated accent. The result is a space that embraces light while asserting a clear and confident design identity.
