VALÀ is a Maltese company active in residential and contract interior design, approaching each project as a continuous, integrated process from the initial concept through to full delivery. The brand works alongside architects, designers, developers and private clients with a bespoke approach.
In July 2026, the studio opened its new showroom in Qormi, a strategic move that marks a significant step in the company’s development and strengthens its presence in Malta, further establishing VALÀ as a key reference point for contemporary interior design on the island.
Within this new space, Zecchinon also has a dedicated presence as the selected kitchen partner, chosen for the strong alignment of values between the two brands and their shared design vision.

A new space dedicated to design in Malta
Spanning three floors, VALÀ’s Qormi showroom was created to offer a broad, contemporary range through a curated selection of international brands for kitchens and interiors throughout the home.
The opening brought together professionals from Malta’s architecture, design, construction and business communities. It was an opportunity to present not only the new showroom, but above all the company’s approach: working closely with clients, architects, designers and developers to create bespoke solutions for projects of varying scale and complexity.
We spoke with Stephanie Vella, Head of Showroom and Sales Manager at VALÀ, to explore the reasons behind the partnership and Zecchinon’s role in this new project.
What led you to choose Zecchinon for the Maltese market, and which values do the two brands share?
When I joined VALÀ around a year ago, after more than twenty years of experience in the industry, I immediately began looking for kitchen partners aligned with our vision, focusing particularly on Veneto while also assessing some of the leading German manufacturers.
Zecchinon quickly stood out in our selection. The company’s commitment to stability and growth, its family culture, the respect it shows for the people who work there, and the exceptional care devoted to production quality perfectly reflect VALÀ’s own values.
This shared set of principles made Zecchinon a natural partner as we entered and strengthened our position in the Maltese market.
How has the Maltese public responded to Zecchinon’s Made in Italy design and quality?
The Maltese market has responded very positively to Zecchinon. Clients appreciate the brand’s innovative design language, its meticulous attention to detail and the high quality of its craftsmanship.
Compared with other Italian offerings, Zecchinon also stands out for the clarity and immediacy of its design and for its excellent value for money. These qualities make it an attractive choice for both private clients and design professionals.
What kind of experience did you want to create in the new VALÀ showroom?
The new VALÀ environment was conceived precisely to bring these strengths to the fore. After twenty years of experience in the showroom world, I know how important it is to use the display space to highlight product features and create solutions that leave a lasting impression.
Together with the Zecchinon design team, we created a fresh, contemporary setting where each kitchen can be presented at its best.
Visitors can expect attentive service from a knowledgeable, professional team, but also an enjoyable and inspiring experience that encourages them to return and explore their project in greater depth.
Customisation is one of Zecchinon’s strengths. How do you interpret this approach in your projects?
Customisation is at the heart of our work. Zecchinon’s flexibility and bespoke approach respond extremely well to the variety of architecture and lifestyles we encounter in Malta.
Our team works closely with architects and designers to transform the specific characteristics and constraints of each space into elegant, functional solutions.
The aim is to give professionals the freedom to express their creativity while ensuring that every kitchen is genuinely designed around the lifestyle of the people who will use it.
Is there a Zecchinon proposal that particularly embodies the spirit of VALÀ?
If I had to choose one expression of the VALÀ style within the Zecchinon range, I would select a Fenix composition paired with ceramic and oak finishes.
It is a combination that brings warmth and a natural tactile quality while retaining the clean lines and contemporary sensibility our clients look for. Unsurprisingly, it has already become one of the solutions that attracts the most attention.
What are VALÀ’s goals for the future together with Zecchinon?
The opening of this showroom is an important milestone for VALÀ.
Through our partnership with Zecchinon, we want to design and deliver many new kitchens across Malta and grow VALÀ into one of the island’s leading names in the kitchen sector.
One final message for anyone envisioning their new kitchen?
To anyone thinking about their next kitchen, I would say: do not stop at buying a product. Turn a desire into a vision, and then into reality.
Come and visit us in the showroom, speak with our designers, and let VALÀ and Zecchinon help you create a kitchen that truly reflects your lifestyle and your taste.
